Going abroad and being exposed to how life can be with a higher level of equality between the two sexes has made me realise just how unfair and prevalent the issue is…
In making an application together with students is not an easy task to do. there are some things that you need to consider such as the availability of the students, materials to do, the details or information and the expertise in doing such these things.
After noticing a severe increase in neglected domestic pets like dogs and cats, we have decided to aid major animal shelters such as the ISPCA and ‘Noah’s Ark’ through initiating a fund by offering car wash services within our campus.
In our Global Citizenship Programme (GCP) class we are passionate about the environment. We felt that a pressing issue in our community is the excessive use of plastic. We came up with “Bee Green”
We cooperated with local charity to have a Saturday special school. Children of the charity were invited and we had lesson with them in English.
My school is developing a Herbal Garden, where we grow vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs. Other than this, my school has also introduced a new program, titled ‘Plant a plant on your birthday’, where students are encouraged to plant a plant on their birthday.
We acknowledged the main problems found within our community – mentioned in our previous blog – that contradict the UN’s seventeen global development goals. Since then, we have been continuously striving to influence the people around us.
We are alarmed by the hazards of waste dumping outside the school campus and guided by the culture of ‘recycle, reduce, reuse & refuse’ concepts. We were desiring to install a sustainable system that converts biomass into useful source of soil- nutrients which otherwise would be sent for landfill or be burnt.
We, a group of seven children studying in Sixth grade at Rustomjee Cambridge International School ( RCIS) with the thought leadership and blessings of our very enthusiastic teacher Aanchal miss and Principal Tanya ma’am are set out to achieve United Nation’s Goal : Life on Land.
Our vision is a community of schools and partners committed to building a global movement of socially conscious young people who are equipped to be leaders in their lives and society.
