Education Town

We are delighted to share a blog written by Jenesys Roxas Arches, a teacher at Gentry International School who is part of a team delivering a Global Goals project for the 2018-19 Global Goals Competition.

Their project is among over 620 social action projects currently running as part of the GSL movement and we are excited to be supporting them to design and lead positive social change in their community.

My experience doing this application was difficult but all worth it.

A challenging new experience that helps shape ones character.

Project Summary

In making an application together with students is not an easy task to do. there are some things that you need to consider such as the availability of the students, materials to do, the details or information and the expertise in doing such these things.

In order to cope up with these concerns, we we decided to make a schedule in making it, gather details with the collaborative effort of everybody and share each others opinion.

Our Journey

The biggest challenge we faced during the making of the application is the availability of the wifi connection. the school experienced a lot of problems regarding the speed and accessibility of the connection which is much vital in doing the application.

The Next Chapter

We would love to recommend this project to people at our age or even those who are 10 to 20 years older than us, because we believe that the application is very useful as long as you love to travel to different places and when you are searching for a place you are not familiar with.

The 2018-19 GSL Global Goals Competition is now open and runs until June 2019. If you belong to one of the 700+ teams of students currently delivering a social action project as part of the competition we would love to hear from you and feature your blog and project photos on our website to inspire others.
