The aim was to give students in Namibia a better education and to promote climate action. Many students from Fidel Castro Primary School don’t have electricity at home, which makes it difficult for them to do their homework. We searched for solar lamps that the students could use for school work and received funds from our sponsor to buy 30 of them. We met the students, explained how to use the lamps and after a few weeks asked for feedback. The lamps significantly improved their education and they said that they will continue to help them in the future.
