Summary
The students at Turing House wanted to allow young carers to have a day off and engage in activities that young people often do. They held an assembly for year 7 and year 8 pupils, informing them about the role of young carers and their project. They have also organised a 5-a side football tournament, costing each person £2 to play. Not only have they given young carers a day off, they have also informed people about young carers and why we should help them.
