We, the Gender Benders, aimed to try and highlight the issues faced by the women in the society, we created awareness about the issues like inequality among both the genders, forced girl child early marriages, lack of educational opportunities for the girls in rural communities and also issues faced in urban societies like unpaid domestic work and unequal pay gap! Through our initiatives like the declaration of the Gender Equality Week, we arranged various competitions and activities which would help us in achieving our goals , and we hope that we could create an everlasting impact on the young minds!
