Wasting paper is an especially alarming issue within Tsinghua International School (THIS), for we use more paper a day as a tiny school of 700 than a normal sized public school of 2000 in the United States. Therefore we aimed to reduce the overall printing paper usage in our school’s four printers, and provide new hand dryers so students do not overuse paper towels. We accomplished this by turning ALL student reports into digital forms, and fixing all the hand drying machines in the school.
