We aimed to improve water, sanitation and hygiene at Mwayi Orphan Care Centre to help improve education and health for the children there. We did this by raising money and getting donations to support shoes for all the children, providing buckets and containers and chlorine for treating the water, soap for hand washing and emptying the pit latrine which was too full to use. We taught the children about hand washing with soap, and COVID-19. The children became educators in their community teaching others how to wash their hands with soap properly.
