Our project mission was to promote and facilitate responsible consumption (UN SDG 12) and reduce food wastage (UN SDG 2). The project entailed reducing the amount of food wasted within the school community and spreading awareness regarding the matter. Also, we were to create a product as a solution to resolve this issue by making a compost pit in our school garden and putting up posters around the school. But due to the COVID-19 virus we couldn’t do that. Two of our other aims were also to collaborate with organisations and work with them and create one or two house competitions to spread more awareness. Actions we could take were speak in one school assembly, make an instagram account and spread awareness.
