Every Stitch Counts: Save the Reef – St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School, Australia

IMPACT OF PROJECT

Our project “Every Stitch Counts: Save the Reef” aims to highlight the damaging effects of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef. We aim to do this through a large scale knitted coral reef installation and a social media awareness campaign. Our next phase is to roll our educational kits that teach students through integrating knitting with the awareness of climate change, as displayed in our project. (However, this second phase is delayed as a result of COVID-19.)
