Expression of Interest & Next Steps

Once you register interest with us (click here to register), we will contact you to discuss our programme offer and will provide you with information needed for your application to the local authority.

We have a limited number of spaces on our programme and the residential aspect will be allocated on a first come first served basis. So between now and the official local authority deadline of 9th March, we are welcoming you to discuss the programme with us further, explore delivery dates and plan likely student numbers for your school’s participation (based on your allocation of funding).

Please note: All schools are asked to complete an application form outlining their proposals for ELS activity (from April 2018 – August 2019) if you want to accept the grant to provide ELS activity for your pupils and the timelines outlined for schools and providers are very tight. We would therefore encourage you to register interest as soon as possible.

Essential Life Skills Fund – background

Bradford is one of twelve Opportunity Areas that are receiving a share of the significant DfE investment to boost opportunities for young people in these communities. The programme is intended to fund a range of extra-curricular activities that develop non-cognitive abilities, collectively named ‘essential life skills’. Your school will receive details on their allocation today (19th February 2018), and the next steps you need to take to draw down the funding. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside leading partners to maximise your funding and leave a lasting positive impact on your students. For more information, you can click here to read the press announcement.

By completing our expression of interest, this will not draw down your funding.
