Our group aims to raise consciousness, promote research, and develop prevention methods and action plans on dating violence and other similar types of assaults. We aim to inspire the victims to vocalize their experiences and ask for help when obliged. We also seek to influence the assaulters by clarifying matters that lead to these assaults. We conducted a presentation at school related to our topic, and we created an Instagram page (@speakkout) to engage teenagers in similar activities. We had other ideas in mind, but unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve all our goals because of the current global pandemic.
