Global Social Leaders announces Rachael McDonald Membership Ambassador for Jamaica

News | 18th April 2023

We are excited to announce Global Social Leaders (GSL) membership ambassador for Jamaica, Rachael McDonald.

Rachael has supported GSL by providing keynote talks for our community of teachers and leaders and is a passionate educator who embraces the Global Goals.

About Rachael:

With 25 years of experience, Rachael is a firm believer in the power of education as a transformative tool.

She created an innovative bilingual early childhood and primary programme under her brand, Fundaciones that grew to multiple locations across Jamaica and later included programmes, services and activities for children up to the age of 18. Using these platforms, Rachael, began engaging children in Jamaica to the inevitable challenges that exist in our global village and guiding them towards innovative solutions.

Her love to create, to share, to excite and to make memorable has been infectious and with a COVID-pandemic induced rebirth, she continues to spread her ideology, methodology and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals to everyone in multiple underserved communities in Jamaica.

Through learning interventions that prioritize socio-emotional development, support sessions and community sustainable projects and programmes such as Di Cawna Library, Rachael continues to edu-ideate and support the notion of education for sustainable development.
