The Red Lotus advocates for the ideals of sustainable menstruation and the proper disposal of menstrual waste. We believe not only in breaking through the stigma that shrouds menstruation, but also in respecting the rights of sanitation workers, menstruators, and the environment. We work with sanitation workers and local NGOs to produce our मैं packets, a cost-efficient and biodegradable way to ensure the proper disposal of menstrual waste. In tandem, we also organize awareness sessions and educational programs to allow menstruators an opportunity to explore sustainable period products and sensitize non-menstruators with regards to the problem.
