I'm so lucky to have grown up with so many resources around me. I have never had to worry about my safety or daily necessities a privilege that I didn't fully understand until last a few years ago, a fault that I am ashamed to admit. I grew up heavily sheltered and when I learned about the extreme homeless crisis in America, where I live, I knew I had to do everything in my power to make a difference.

Have you ever seen a nurdle? Do you know what it is? A few years ago, one of our project team members has first come to be aware of, and started taking interest in the topic of microplastics and the harm they do to the environment.
