Summary
Through raising money via a cake sale and a non uniform day, the girls were able to make an impact on the individuals at Planet mercy UK, a charity that supports the Rochdale community and it’s youth. They were able to make food goody bags from the money raised, for families who are in need of food . At school they have promoted this association by making presentations and posters in a bid to get more supplies such as clothing and books for those who attend Planet Mercy. Their impact was recognized by the amount of donations now being left in schools and the amount of refugees attending the programme.
