Project Description:
GenSTEM is a youth-led organization aiming to bridge the opportunity gap in STEM education. We organised 5 workshops (60+ impact) for students in underprivileged communities with a focus to develop their critical thinking skills and foster lifelong learning. Established a social media presence and posted blogs to raise awareness on educational issues and increase scientific literacies, achieving a 9000+ reach. Also, we fostered a youth volunteering network, with 60+ volunteers. Lastly, we initiated the STEMBOX project to support rural schools all over Thailand during the pandemic by providing academic resources and scientific kits, where we managed to reach over 1700 students.
