Edunations nation

We are delighted to share a blog written by student Alma Kriegel from Hua Hin International School, who is part of a team delivering a Global Goals project for the 2019-20 Global Goals Competition.

Their project is among over 957 social action projects currently running as part of the GSL movement and we are excited to be supporting them to design and lead positive social change in their community.

This experience has been both beneficial and interesting because it has brought in all of us more teaching skills and it has taught the children more English.

Project Overview

Hi, we are EduNation. We are trying to tackle Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities and Gender Equality goals by giving weekly lessons of English to a local government school. The children are between 10-12 years old and we have already been doing it for three weeks and have spotted progress.

Our Journey

Through this project, we have learnt how to communicate with children who do not speak the same language and have acquired some teaching skills that will help in the future.

The Next Chapter

We would completely recommend to other people our age to do these types of projects because they’re beneficial to our own growth and it also helps the environment.

The 2019-20 GSL Global Goals Competition is now open and runs until June 2020. If you belong to one of the 700+ teams of students currently delivering a social action project as part of the competition we would love to hear from you and feature your blog and project photos on our website to inspire others.
