Our project “Colors in the Darkness” aims to shed light on a minority of artists from the blind and visually impaired community. We were able to get in contact with these artists (whose ages range between 13-17) through Suheil Bqaeen, artist and founder of “Scent of a Color” who has been incredibly helpful so far. We will produced notebooks and t shirts featuring some of their incredible artworks, in order for them to gain more recognition, 100% of the profit obviously went to the artists themselves. We are also hoping to expand our project in the future in the form of events, galleries, workshops etc.
