introducing the applied leadership certificate

Leadership is developed every day through actions and decisions we make for ourselves and others. It is a journey that lasts a lifetime and the GSL World Summit can serve as an important first step. For those that are committed to continuing their leadership journey after the programme, the GSL Certificate in Applied Leadership offers a structured opportunity to do so.

We challenge all students who participate in the GSL World Summit to complete a personal and a team project.  This certificate, challenges you to take your leadership journey to the next level, to reflect on your learning, share your learning with others, to connect with people outside of your network, and to keep in touch and utilise the network you have gained.

The Certificate consists of challenges that are to be completed within ten months following the World Summit. You will be required to complete seven of the ten challenges to be eligible for the certificate. Each challenge allows the participant to develop a different aspect of their ability as a leader of themselves and others.

Participants will be asked to submit evidence of their completion of their challenges and which are endorsed by a teacher at your school.
