Youth for our Planet’s mission as per the sustainable development goals is to create general awareness in schools and local communities about the need for mental health and well-being in crisis by creating an easy-to-use virtual platform to provide support, educate and offer guidelines as per the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 health advice. The project aims at creating awareness about proper disposal of used masks, encouraging reusable and effective masks. Around 600 students and local community of Ras Al Khaimah were involved in this project and got benefit from it.
