Words for Welcome is a community organisation working to promote awareness around the refugee crisis, alongside dismantling intolerance and ignorance. We put individuals at the heart of our work, focusing on refugee stories and experiences rather than detached statistics. Our work is executed through an Instagram platform and a Public Blog, where we provide updates and analyses of current refugee crises globally, their specific impact on the individuals involved and the steps that should be taken to secure their protection. Our platforms are also used to highlight the success stories of the world’s most prominent refugees as heroes, not victims.
