UK student Scholarships & Bursary

We are proud to share, for Summer 2018, we are offering a limited number of scholarship and bursary places for UK and Irish nationals to participate in our life-changing summer programmes open to young people from around the world.  We want to ensure our programmes are inclusive and a global mix attends with British students from every background able to attend.

  • Our scholarship is a 20 % discount on the fees for attending the course(s) you apply to attend (open to students attending MIST schools, and both fee paying and state funded schools in the UK)
  • For students attended a state school in the UK, we also offer a limited number of 30 % discounted bursary places (please note in your application if you attend a state funded school)
  • We are also offering students the opportunity to attend any of our courses on a non-residential basis to further reduce the cost for participation for students living in the UK

For students attending a Methodist Independent Schools Trust (MIST)  school, as part of our partnership with Queen’s College, we are guaranteeing an allocation of scholarships to schools within this trust, for courses taking place at Queen’s (this includes all MIST members in the UK and Kent College Dubai).

The deadline for a scholarship application is Monday 7th May 2018.

If appropriate, following your application we will invite you to an interview, if we need further information regarding your application.

At GSL we get to meet lifelong friends. Everyone is like minded so it is a very safe environment to be open and truly be yourself.
