Project Description:
Building Health Through Sports targets the inclusion of individuals with intellectual disabilities in all areas of life: sports, Unified Tournaments at schools, communities and sport clubs, work inclusion, social inclusion, aiming to Improve their quality of life and be active members of society.
The project also includes TIPT (Trabajo Inclusivo Para Todos/ Inclusive work for all), a Web/App designed to facilitate the matchmaking between Special Olympics athletes and companies in the Costa Rican public and private section. These digital matchmaking processes will increase job opportunities and the well-being of these population, this part of the project aims to achieve the labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
