Buzz! Buzz!! Feeding the Bees

We are delighted to share a blog written by Asuquo Promise, a student at Wuse Zone 3 Primary School who is part of a team delivering a Global Goals project for the 2018-19 Global Goals Competition.

Their project is among over 620 social action projects currently running as part of the GSL movement and we are excited to be supporting them to design and lead positive social change in their community.

Learning through fun is exciting.

Project Overview

The name of the project is feeding the Bees. We started our project with planting of flowers on a nursery bed for later planting on the Field. We realised that there is no flowers and also green plating ground in our schools and community. We decided to start by planting of flowers and to build mini football field for ourselves with planting of carpet grasses and also volley ball court.

Our Journey

The skill of art, horticulture and construction. We are able to learn a lot through this project which our teacher has been so helpful. We learn that there are some talents in us which we need our teachers to bring it out of us by encouraging us.

The Next Chapter

We believed that before the end of the project we will be able to learn a lot I construction, planting and arts especially. We hope the competition will continue every year to enable our junior ones to keep participating. Learning is fun.

The 2018-19 GSL Global Goals Competition is now open and runs until June 2019. If you belong to one of the 700+ teams of students currently delivering a social action project as part of the competition we would love to hear from you and feature your blog and project photos on our website to inspire others.
