✨ Join us to be inspired and take action on the Global Goals!
To mark Global Goals Week, we hosted two live webinars designed to empower schools and students to take meaningful action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
📅 Webinar 1: How to Embed Social Action into Your School Curriculum
Natalie Cameron and Team Vitamin U from Newstead Wood shared how they connected global challenges with issues in their own communities, chose the Goals they wanted to support and turned their ideas into meaningful social action projects.
They explained how the programme culminated in the school’s annual GSL Expo, where students presented their projects, shared what they have learned and celebrated the impact they are making.
The session offered practical insights into how schools can integrate the Global Goals and high-quality social action into the curriculum while supporting large numbers of students to lead projects. It explored how this approach developed confidence, creativity, collaboration and students’ belief in their ability to contribute to a fairer, healthier and more sustainable world.
📅 Webinar 2: Spotlight on Good Health and Wellbeing
To celebrate Global Goals Week, this webinar will explore Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, and the role young people can play in helping individuals and communities to thrive.
Dextera – Neerja Modi School, India, Glow & Grow and Team Burnout Escape from Svitlo School, UK/Ukraine, shared how they identified a health and wellbeing challenge in their community, developed their ideas, took meaningful action and measured the impact of their project
The lively panel discussions sparked meaningful conversations and left us energised for the journey ahead. We hope you will enjoy watching back the recordings!
