Project Description:

Namjai by Wellington College International School Bangkok is an environmental initiative committed to reducing plastic pollution in Thailand’s Chao Phraya River. In partnership with Everwave, the team supported the deployment of AI-powered waste collection boats and raised over 342,000 THB to fund cleanup efforts—removing 2.6 tonnes of waste so far, with 2,000 more kilograms targeted by June 2025. They’ve launched workshops in schools, reached over 1,200 people through outreach and education, and continue to grow their impact through dynamic social media campaigns and environmental advocacy.
