The aim of the project was to educate young girls/women on the usage and disposal of sanitary products and provide as many girls/women in our community sanitary pads. We also aimed at installing sanitary boxes in the female toilets of our school.
To achieve the aims, we met with the leadership coordinator of our school to assist with getting a venue for the seminars and, getting all materials needed for the seminars and getting and distributing flyers for the prospective audience. We also spoke with the FM of our school to install slabs in the female toilets for the pad boxes which we brought from home as well as pads, disposable pants, nylons and tissue rolls.
