Our projects aim was to address Goal 11, creating a sustainable community. To do this, we decided to create a ‘Community Repair Shop’. We asked local people of our community who are skilled in sewing, jewellery and other craftsmanships to volunteer at our repair shop, where members of the community could bring broken items to be fixed for whatever price they thought appropriate, making us also a non-profit organisation. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, however, we decided to create video tutorials of how to fix broken items from home and also trying to encourage members of our community to use objects or items at the home to create new ones, for example jewellery or baking.
