Project Planet Love

BERTHA EARTH CHALLENGES YOU To think about what it is you love about our planet and what you are personally passionate about.

What is Bertha Earth?

Bertha Earth believes that young people are and can be powerful forces for change. Through our amazing partnerships, programmes and projects our mission is to support and grow a diverse network of young environmental leaders, storytellers and change makers who are committed to protect, nurture and celebrate our planet, now and for generations to come.

The Challenge

Channel your passions to celebrate the planet this summer.

At Bertha Earth we believe our planet doesn’t need ‘saving’ it simply needs our commitment to love and take care of it the same way we would care for a friend or family member we love.

So, our challenge for you is to think about what it is you love about our planet and what you are personally passionate about. Maybe you could include the things you love to do in your day to day life?

It can be anything, for example the ocean and dancing, food and gaming, animals and writing or singing, etc. anything and everything you love about our planet and love to do – and you can bring them together however you wish.

The next step is to work out how you can bring them together, in a way that celebrates how incredible the planet is as well as inspiring others to take time out and recognise how fortunate we are to be able to call planet earth our home.

Your final submission can be as simple as a poster, a song or poem, right up to a wild invention no one has seen before. Wherever your imagination leads you!

We want to leave this Challenge as open as possible and encourage you to be as creative as you can be, go wild, the main thing is that you have fun. If you would like more help along the way, feel free to check out our project guide and resource page, all designed to support and guide you as you map out your ideas and plan what you want to do.

Good luck, and remember having fun and celebrating yourself and what you love is also good for our planet!
