AQUA SAVERS

We are delighted to share a blog written by Ilham Zalat, a student at Ali Bin Abi Taleb- Al Makassede who is part of a team delivering a Global Goals project for the 2018-19 Global Goals Competition.

Their project is among over 620 social action projects currently running as part of the GSL movement and we are excited to be supporting them to design and lead positive social change in their community.

It’s an amazing experience because, i feel that i have a voice in this country.

Project Summary

Our project mainly talks about lessening the amount of water used, since Lebanon is suffering from deficit rainfalls. We are going to talk with Beirut municipality to do this project on watering plants in the streets, by automatic watering system (in process). We did a campaign to raise awareness for water and we told them about our project.

Moreover, youth should participate in such competitions so that they can make their voice being heard.
