Programme

Future Foundations are proud to be invited to deliver our Global Social Leaders (GSL) Catalyst programme this December at JBCN International School, Parel. After successfully delivering the programme last year in December we have been invited by JBCN to come back and work with another amazing group of students.

Global Social Leaders (GSL) Catalyst is a unique 3-day intensive leadership course, designed to develop your leadership skills and your understanding of global issues enabling you to plan a project and become a leader in your life and society. GSL is a transformational leadership experience developed by Future Foundations and the Wellington Leadership Institute that brings together young people who are driven to make social change on a global scale.

This is a non-residential programme from 8.30am to 2.30pm each day, delivered onsite at JBCN International School, Parel.

The programme is open to students in Grades 9 and 10 only who attend this school.  This programme is not open to other schools.

Programme dates:

  • 15th December – 17th December (non-residential)

Our Future Foundations British Facilitator will be visiting India to deliver this programme.

The ultimate goals of the programme are to:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Nurture confidence
  • Empower the participants to go on to lead successful community projects

The programme will aim to develop each learners’ personal understanding of different leadership styles, and how to show leadership for oneself, in school, and in the community.

Learners will develop their understanding of the global challenges we face and how, through partnership and innovation, we can solve them. They will be taken through real life cases to demonstrate good project management and how to create their own impactful projects to take on after the programme ends.  After the programme, the learners will be challenged to start their own projects which will make tangible changes within their school and the community (local, national or global).

JBCN is offering scholarships for the programme to up to 20 learners who will be selected by Future Foundations.  There is no course fee for attendance for selected learners.

If you have any queries regarding selection or about the programme, please contact social.leaders@future-foundations.co.uk
